ARCH1101 Week 2: Staircase Model

My stair design is based on the word minimalist. As a result, I have created the stairs to encompass a cubic space shown by the dimensions above. In addition, the footings themselves transition from heavy to light as shown by the images and drawings above while also becoming sharper as towards the ground plane thus intersecting ideas with my second word which is sharp.

Creative Work:

Due to having not completed any conventional art or design work over the course of my education, the image above contains my HSC creative which delves into the experience of discovery.

Great Piece of Architec

Above is Louis Kahn's Norman Fisher House whose unique intersecting volumes highlight a simple cubic form which embodies his design principles.

Something Beautiful:

Above is an image I took during a ski trip where the overnight snow resulted in the beauty scenery of snow covered pine trees across the mountain.
